Membership

Membership is into Alpha Eta Mu Beta is by invitation only and is open to all undergraduate Junior and Seniors, graduate, and transfer students, faculty, and alumni. To be eligible for membership, individuals must meet the following criteria:

• Undergraduates
• Juniors: Rank in the top fifth of your graduating class based upon cumulative GPA
• Seniors: Rank in the top third of your graduating class based upon cumulative GPA
• Graduates
• Master Students: Completed at least 8 credits of BME Master's coursework, maintain a GPA of at least 3.75, and rank in the top third of eligible graduate students.
• PhD Candidates: Completed at least 12 credits of BME PhD coursework, maintain a GPA of at least 3.75, and rank in the top third of eligible graduate students.
• Faculty
• Alumni

All Candidates must demonstrate both exemplary character and high academic achievement. Students must actively participate in AEMB events each semester in order to remain in good standing. Members in good standing have the opportunity to wear honor cords and stoles at graduation and run for positions on the Executive Board.
